Selected Pearls in Understanding the Conditions, Obligations, and
Pillars of the Prayer

It is
known that the prayer is from the pillars of Islam, and it is the most
important Islamic obligations after Aqeedah, and it has a great and
important status with Allaah, the Sublime and Exalted. The Prayer is the

travelling and residing, on land or on sea, and wherever it may be, it is
obligatory upon us.

An
Explanation of Kitab al-Tawhid
Author: 'Allaamah 'Abdul-Rahmaan as-Sa'di.
This book
is a brief yet extremely beneficial explanation of Shaikh al-Islaam
Muhammad ibn ‘Abdul-Wahhaab’s famous Kitab At-Tawhid. The book, as the
tittle suggests, deals with the subject of worshipping Allaah alone
without associating partners with Him. The author highlights many matters
that have become common among Muslims even though they are clearly acts of
shirk or associating partners with Allaah. Not only is this book
distinguished due to the methodology adopted by the author for which he is
well known. The reader will find that the majority of the book consists of
verses of the Qur’an, ahaadith of the Prophet
 and sayings of the early
Muslims.
The
explanation presented at the end of each chapter of kitaab at-Tawheed is
that of the renowned scholar ‘Allaamah ‘Abdur-Rahmaan as-Sa’di, counted
among the major scholars of recent times. He was born in al-Qaseem, Saudi
Arabia, in the year 1307AH, and from a young age became engrossed in the
attainment of knowledge. His dedication and thirst for knowledge led him
to become an authority in many of the Islamic sciences as is evident from
the books that he authored. He passed away in the year 1376 AH, may Allaah
have mercy on him.

Glimpse At The DEVIATED SECTS

Shaykh Saaleh al-Fawzaan.
Verily a discussion about
the sects is not an issue of mere historical presentation by which the
study of the origins of the sects is done simply for the sake of it. As is
the case with historical events.
Rather, discussion about the sects has a greater importance than that,
and it is a warning from the evils of these sects and their newly invented
matters and the necessity to cling to Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa’ah.
Abandoning that which the deviated sects are upon is not achieved by an
individual, rather it is only achieved after study and recognition of what
the Saved Sect is.
